Mobi Crash Test Dummies

Nine years ago I traveled the world a couple of times and loved sharing my adventures via email and chat rooms when within the vicinity of a Internet cafe. It cost an arm & a leg, but you got to become mates with other travelers doing the same thing over [usually] a nice cuppa.
Well, it’s come that time again when my feet are very very itchy and that travel bug is just waiting to get out and about again! However, I’m running a business now. Can I afford to shut shop & go gallivanting around the globe again? Or can I take it with me?
Which begs the question…. Exactly how mobile is my web design business??
I’ve been preaching to clients for the past few years about the benefits of being mobile, so I suppose I better practice what I preach! Can I successfully take my business on the road?
Maybe!! We’re going to give it a dam good try anyway!
My good mate Paul, a software developer & web host from Cornwall, and I are going to take to the road. We’re packing up our kit & kaboodle and traveling around the UK & Europe. We’ll be staying in tents, cabins and B&B’s, and running our business from eeepcs & smart phones.
Another great thing that evolved on the Net since my last travels, is the avenues in which to document it. So for all of you who wish to follow our planning & adventures, we’ll have feeds coming into my website from various social network feeds where we will be warehousing our docs.
